Artist’s biography

Natalia Korshunova was born in Vladivostok in 1968.
Education
1984-1988 Secondary Music School in Vladivostok. The class of N.G Nizovskaya
1988-1993 The Far Eastern State Academy of the Arts. Classes of docent B.K.Yakimovich and senior lecturer V.G. Bukach
1997 Internship at the Gnesins' Academy of Music. Class of Professor V. Ponizovkin
1998 Assistant internship at the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Class of People's Artist of the USSR, Professor V.K. Merzhanov
1998-2000 Postgraduate Studies at the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. The class of Merited Artist of Russia, Professor M.A Smirnov

Geography of touring
Natalia has been performed a lot since 1991. Carries out a wide range of activities as a soloist, chamber music player, music events organizer and piano master classes leader in Russia, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Switzerland, Israel, Canada, Chile, Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Djibouti, South Korea.
Natalia has performed in all top Moscow halls: The Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Concert Hall “Rossiya” etc.
Artistic activities
Natalia collaborates with many singers, instrumentalists and theatre figures: Vladimir Matorin, Tatiana Yerastova, Igor Gavrysh, Evgeny Petrov, Mikhail Petukhov, Elena Strizhevskaya, Peter Glubokiy, Larisa Kurdyumova, Alexander Filippenko, etc.
She is an organizer and a permanent participant of the music festival "Music in the museums of Russia” (Moscow region) and the project «Grand Theatre in Vladivostok".
Natalia performed with the Chamber Orchestra of Moscow Conservatory conducted by A. Cherkasov, the State Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Moscow Chamber Orchestra "Cantus firmus", the Gnesins Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Mikhailov Moscow Brass Band.
Performances of N. Korshunova were broadcasted by regional TV channels, by the channel "Culture", radio stations "Orpheus", "Sadko", "Online, " "Echo Moskvy", "Mayak".

Natalia Korshunova is the founder and artistic director of the International Chamber Music Festival and the International Competition "Winterreise"

She is awarded the Diploma of the International Charitable Fund "Patrons of the Century" for “labor feat on benefit of the homeland and service to the ideals of kindness and mercy" (2009).
Natalia is also awarded the Diploma of the Russian Minister of Culture A.A. Avdeev, "for her great contribution to the cultural development" (2010).
On the 18 of November, 2010 Natalia Korshunova was awarded the title "Moscow Honored Worker of Culture "by the decree of the Moscow mayor S.S. Sobyanin.
